Research Technician (for 12-month term) at Performance Plants Inc.
Location: Kingston, Ontario
Description:
Performance Plants Inc., an agricultural biotech company, is looking for a highly motivated research technician with BSc or MSc in plant physiology or plant biology for a full-time one-year contract position as a research assistant starting on October 1, 2024. The successful candidate will join the trait assessment team and be involved in the physiological assessment of various plant species for their growth, stress tolerance and productivity, preparation for summer field trials and some laboratory and growth chamber general maintenance work. Occasional weekend work will be required. Training is provided, however experience with plant physiology and field trial is an asset.
